2. Our Services

Environmental Automation, Inc. provides building automation controls, video management systems, access control solutions, and related monitoring and integration services across Greater Los Angeles and Southern California. Specific services, deliverables, and pricing are governed by individual service agreements between Environmental Automation, Inc. and each customer. In the event of a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and a signed service agreement, the service agreement controls.

3. Limitation of Liability

The content on this website is provided for general information purposes. While Environmental Automation, Inc. strives to keep information accurate and current, the website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Environmental Automation, Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website. Nothing in this section limits obligations or warranties expressly set out in a signed service agreement.

4. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

5. SMS Alarm Notification Service

This section governs the SMS alarm notification service operated by Environmental Automation, Inc. for building automation system (BAS) monitoring. By providing your mobile number and consenting to receive messages, you agree to the terms in this section.

5.1 SMS Campaign Description

Environmental Automation, Inc. operates an automated SMS notification service that delivers building system alarm alerts to authorized facility personnel. Notifications are generated by EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) building automation systems at customer sites managed by Environmental Automation, Inc.

Messages may include:

• Active alarm notifications (equipment faults, sensor alerts, system failures)
• Return-to-normal confirmations when alarms clear
• Critical building system status updates

5.2 How Consent Is Collected

Mobile phone numbers are collected directly from building owners, facility managers, or authorized staff at the time of service agreement with Environmental Automation, Inc. Recipients explicitly provide their number and consent to receive automated alarm notifications as part of the Environmental Automation, Inc. service engagement.

If multiple staff members are designated to receive notifications, each individual's number is collected separately with individual consent.

5.3 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on building system activity. During normal operations, messages are infrequent. During equipment failures or active alarm conditions, multiple messages may be sent within a short period until the condition is resolved.

You may opt out of receiving SMS notifications at any time using any of the following methods:

• Reply STOP to any SMS message to be immediately removed from notifications
• Reply HELP to any SMS message for assistance
• Contact Environmental Automation, Inc. directly using the information in the Customer Care section below to request removal

After opting out via STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further alarm notifications will be sent to your number. To re-enroll, contact Environmental Automation, Inc. directly.

5.6 Supported Carriers

This SMS service is supported by all major US carriers including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, and regional carriers. Carrier support may vary.

5.7 Privacy

Mobile phone numbers collected for this SMS campaign will not be sold, shared, or transferred to third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Numbers are used exclusively for the delivery of building system alarm notifications as described above. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Changes to These Terms

Environmental Automation, Inc. reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of our website or services, or continued receipt of SMS notifications following any changes, constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
